Invitation wording questions

Who should the invitation come from, the parents or the couple?

Traditional invitations come from the parents, while many couples now invite in their own names. Both are correct: choose what suits your families and your wedding.

How early should we send the invitation?

Usually 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding. Let guests travelling from abroad know earlier (two or three months) so they can plan, then send them the invitation.

Can the invitation be in Arabic and English?

Yes. With Daawa Online each family receives the invitation in the language you choose for them, and guests can switch between Arabic and English at any time.

How do we politely say the wedding is adults only?

A kind line such as "We love your little ones, but our celebration is adults only" works well. With a digital invitation you can also set the number of seats for each family.
